Pune, Jan 13: a special court today reserved orders for January 16 on the bail plea of former Mumbai police commissioner R S Sharma arrested under a stringent law of Maharashtra in the multi-crore fake stamp paper racket. Designated judge S M Shembole reserved the judgement after hearing extensively both the prosecution and the defence counsel.

Prosecutor Raja Thakre opposed Sharma's bail petition on the ground that there was enough evidence against him and that he had aided and abetted the organised crime syndicate of the prime accused Abdul Karim Telgi.
The defence counsel, however, maintained that there was no iota of evidence against Sharma who had been arrested under Maharashtra Control Of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).
