Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah on Sunday met the Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi, at her official residence on Sunday afternoon. Abdullah, who was here in connection with the eighth convocation of the national board of examinations, lauded Rabri for her patience and courage at a time when her husband was behind the bars.
He asked the bihar chief minister, with whom he spent about 10 minutes, to convey his regards to Laloo Prasad Yadav whom he described as a great leader having popular support of the masses.
The J&K chief minister said that he had even wanted to go to Ranchi to meet Yadav, but he was pressed for time. He said he was in favour of POTO and that Bihar too required such a legislation to meet the challenge thrown by ultra outfits.
