Himachal lashed by heavy snowfall, mercury dips further
Shimla, April 03: The higher reaches in the tribal areas of Kinnaur, Lahaul-Spiti and Pangi had another spell of heavy snowfall during past 24 hours while the mid-hills including the state capital were lashed by hailstrom followed by showers causing sharp fall in the temperature.

Avalanche threat loomed large over high altitude tribal areas following fresh snowfall and people in these areas had been advised to restrict outdoor movement.
