London, Sept 06: In a twist to the ongoing sponsorship controversy, the ICC today rejected the BCCI statement that the world body has sought compensation from the Indian board and made it clear that it had sought indemnities from all countries against damages it may suffer. Rejecting BCCI chief Jagmohan Dalmiya`s statement in Kolkata last night, ICC chief executive Malcolm Speed said such a blanket indemnity has been sought from all countries and not just India. Meanwhile, the BCCI has called an emergency meeting of its working committee in New Delhi on Saturday to discuss the matter.
