London, June 27: India's Mahesh Bhupathi and his partner Max Mirnyi of Belorussia moved into the second round of the men's doubles event of Wimbledon Tennis Championships with a comfortable straight sets victory against the British pair of James Auckland and Lee Childs yesterday. The top-seeded pair won 6-4 6-3 to set up a second round clash with Jiri Novak and Radek Stepanek of Czech Republic. Novak and Stepanek beat the combination of Amir Hadad of Israel and Aisam-ul Haq Qureshi of Pakistan 7-6 (7/5) 7-5 7-5 in another first round duel. Bureau Report
