Elli Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do" and Beyonce's "Haunted" from the Dakota Johnson-Jamie Dornan starrer were played as models sashayed down the runway wearing clothes from Pallavi's collection titled "Nostalgia".

"It is a simple, clean and easy collection. Almost a century ago, the 1920's were a peroid of irrational exhutberence and pulsating enegry. And yet the rigid formality of privilege and tradition were still dominant.

"Taking a cue form that peroid in history, this collection is energetic yet restrained. All the garments are hand-crafted. I love volume so that is eveidnet from the clothesas well," Pallavi told reportes after the show.

The fabrics used were warm wools and luxurious satin silks. The silhouettes were conservative yet modern. Satin blouses, organza dresses, plated wool blend skirts and hand-linked skirts completed the collection.

"Construction techniques included laser cut, motifs, ombrey dyed feathers, velvet patchwork and blanket-stitched gros tapes with few hidden details," Pallavi added.
