New Delhi, July 01: India's exports grew by 13.53 per cent in May this year to 4.521 billion dollars as compared to 3.982 billion dollars in the same month last year.
Exports during the first two months of the current financial year (April & May) registered a growth of 11.12 per cent at 8.8 billion dollars as against 7.9 billion dollars in the corresponding period last year, according to provisional data released by the government here today.
Imports also jumped by 8.57 per cent to 5.625 billion dollars in May 2003 over 5.181 billion dollars a year ago, an official release said.
