Mumbai, July 28: The condition of yesteryear's star Shammi Kapoor, undergoing treatment at a city hospital for congestion in lungs, remains critical even as he developed renal problems today, hospital sources said here. "Kapoor has developed renal problems and he is under observation for urine output and creatinine level", the sources at Breach Candy Hospital, where the actor has been admitted for past few days, told a news agency. The actor, who had been suffering from bronchitis, was admitted to the hospital after he developed serious lung congestion.

Kapoor continues to be in the ICU, the sources added. Brother of legendary actor-producer Raj Kapoor, the veteran actor had shot to fame with his films like `Junglee', `Brahmachari', `Teesri Manzil' and `Kashmir Ki Kali'.
