Los Angeles, May 24: Prominent US actor Kirk Douglas, who holds an Oscar for lifetime achievement, and his wife Anne have renewed their wedding vows during a traditional Jewish ceremony. The couple was married 50 years ago in Las Vegas where Douglas was filming "20,000 leagues under the sea." Yesterday's ceremony took place in front of about 300 guests, including Nancy Reagan, Merv Griffin, Tony Curtis, Angie Dickinson and Lauren Bacall, according to publicist warren Cowan. Eighty-seven-year-old Douglas has appeared in more than 60 films. Douglas is the father of actor Michael Douglas, another Hollywood celebrity.
