Jashpur, Nov 17: Police have registered cases against 14 people, including two sons of Union Minister of State for Environment and Forests Dilip Singh Judev, after BJP and Congress workers clashed here. Police Superintendent Mahesh Prasad Choudhary told reporters that the activists clashed last evening at two places following a newspaper expose on the basis of a VCD containing visuals of Judev accepting money for granting mining lease in Chhattisgarh and neighbouring Orissa.
He said Judev's son, Shatrughan Pratap Singh and a few others were arrested and later released on bail.
Similarly, another case was registered against six people, including Judeo's other son Yudhveer Pratap Singh, in connection with a clash involving congress workers at Lodhan village, about 20 km from here.
Choudhary said Yudhveer and some of his supporters were yet untraceable.
Stating that cases were registered in connection with both incidents, following written complaints by Congressmen, he added that investigations were on.
