New Delhi, Sept 16: A city court hearing the Nitish Katara murder case has issued fresh summons to Bharti Yadav, daughter of Rajya Sabha MP D P Yadav. Additional Sessions judge S N Dhingra directed Bharti, who is currently pursuing her studies in England, to appear before him on October 8. The court had summoned Bharti on earlier occasion also. However, she has not so far turned up in court.

Last month, she sought more time from the court to appear and depose in the case.

Bharti is a crucial witness in the case as it is her alleged relation with Nitish that is being cited by the police as the reason for his murder.
Nitish, a business executive, was kidnapped from a marriage party in Ghaziabad in February 2002 and murdered allegedly by the MPs son Vikas Yadav and nephew Vishal.
