Woodstock, Oct 05: Tiger Woods has a two shot lead after the third round of the WGC-Championship.
Tiger Woods shot a one-under-par 69 but his lead in the WGC-American Express Championship was reduced to two shots in the third round on Saturday (October 4).
The world number one, who started the day with a five-shot lead, is at eight-under-par 202, two shots ahead of Vijay Singh. The Fijian shot a six-under 64.
Tim Herron (67) is at five-under 205, while Korea's K.J. Choi is at four-under 206 on the Capital City Club's Crabapple Course.
Two bogeys and a double bogey at the par-four 16th from Woods offset a five-birdie round. Adding to Woods's woes was a 31-putt round on the hard and fast greens.
Singh was seven-under through the first 13 holes but then sandwiched bogeys at the par-four 14th and 18th holes around a birdie at the par-four 17th.
