Srinagar, Mar 17: Two foreign mercenaries were among three persons killed in separate incidents in south Kashmir today, official sources said.

Abu Zahid and Abu Qaib, both Pakistani militants, were killed in a gunfight with the Rashtriya Rifles troops at village Bragpora in Achabal area of Anantnag district this morning, the sources said.
The gunfight was initiated by the militants who opened fire on the troops patrolling the village from a house. The troops immediately took up positions and retaliated killing the two hiding militants, the sources said adding the house belonging to Kabir Ganai was also damaged in the incident.
The sources said body of one, Abdul Majid Bhat was recovered by police from Kanihama village in Pulwama district today.
Bhat was reportedly killed by unidentified militants late last night.
