Australia are now 2-1 ahead in the tie, needing to win one of the remaining two singles rubbers.

The turning point of a thrilling doubles encounter came at 3-3 in the deciding set when Federer double-faulted twice and dropped his serve.
Woodbridge praised Arthurs for keeping Australia in the match after the pair had gone down two sets to one.
"My partner played way better than I did today," said Woodbridge, who equalled the record for most Davis Cup matches played by an Australian. Bureau Report
