Beijing, Apr 09: Pakistani Foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri today concluded his maiden official visit to China after meeting the Chinese leadership to further their "all weather" relationship and briefing them on the latest on Pakistan-India ties. On the last day of this three-day visit, Kasuri met the head of the international department of the ruling Communist Party of China (CPC) central committee, Wang Jiarui and discussed bilateral ties, regional and "hot issues." The two sides spoke highly of their "all-weather friendship" and expressed satisfaction with the well-developed inter-party relations, official Xinhua News Agency reported.
"Wang and Kasuri briefed each other on their domestic situations respectively and exchanged views on regional and hot issues," the report said. Kasuri said the Pakistani side would continue to support China on the Taiwan, Tibet and human rights issues.

Kasuri called on Chinese premier Wen Jiabao and held official talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing.


Wen and Kasuri exchanged views on Sino-Pakistani relations and the situation in South Asia, officials said.
During the talks, the Chinese Foreign Minister welcomed and supported the easing relations between Pakistan and India. Li said China hopes Pakistan and India should maintain the momentum of comprehensive dialogue for the sake of peace and stability in the region.
