Kashmir talks progressing well: Vohra
New Delhi, July 12: Centre`s interlocutor on Kashmir, N N Vohra today said his interaction with various groups in Jammu and Kashmir was progressing well and he was hopeful of a positive outcome.
New Delhi, July 12: Centre's interlocutor on Kashmir, N N Vohra today said his interaction with various groups in Jammu and Kashmir was progressing well and he was hopeful of a positive outcome.
Vohra, who met Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani this morning to inform him about his talks, told reporters he was still in the process of hearing views of various sections of Jammu and Kashmir.
"The talks are progressing well. I am hopeful of a positive outcome," he said.
To a question on possibility of talks with separatist Hurriyat Conference, Vohra said his "open invitation" to all groups stands. "They can meet me anytime according to their convenience if they wish”, he said. After his visits to Kashmir and Jammu regions, Vohra is likely to travel to Ladakh within a week to hold interaction there. Bureau Report
