Rome, July 17: Michael Schumacher is confident Ferrari will return to winning ways in Sunday's British Grand Prix after being upstaged by Williams in the last two races.
"I am sure that we will be very competitive at Silverstone," said the 34-year-old German. "We will have a few new parts on the car and that means we can be optimistic about the British Grand Prix.
"You need a well balanced car on this track, even more so than at the Nurburgring. Every aspect of the set-up has to be perfect and getting it right is a real challenge.
"I like Silverstone as the track is interesting and it is always good to go and race there. In my opinion, the key parts of the track are Becketts Corner and the slow section after bridge, which is difficult to get right.
"The circuit has a long tradition and that adds to its appeal. I go to Silverstone in optimistic mood, because we are well prepared for all eventualities."

Schumacher, who strolled to a record-equalling fifth drivers' world title last year after winning 11 of the 17 races, currently leads Mclaren's Kimi Raikkonen by just eight points.

But Williams duo of Ralf Schumacher and Juan Pablo Montoya also pose a serious threat to Ferrari's hopes of retaining both the drivers and constructors titles.

Schumacher's advantage over Ralf is 11 points following the 28-year-old's back-to-back victories at the European and French Grand Prix, while Montoya is six points further adrift after finishing second on each occassion.
