Bhopal, May 30: The nine MLAs of Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) from Uttar Pradesh, who had left here on Wednesday evening for an undisclosed destination, were stationed in the hill resort of Pachmarhi. Reports reaching here today said the MLAs, staying in a hotel belonging to a congress leader, have claimed that they were not under any pressure.

A new alliance may be formed in Uttar Pradesh as an alternative to Mayawati government, after the recent meeting of rld president Ajit Singh and Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav with Congress president Sonia Gandhi, they said.
A crucial meeting of RLD UP office bearers would also decide on the issue of withdrawal of support from the Mayawati government.

The nine MLAs were sent to Madhya Pradesh amidst threat of being broken away by Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati.

Five RLD ministers had resigned from Mayawati government on Wednesday.
