Jammu, Dec 25: Two Bangladeshis were gunned down by the army while they were trying to infiltrate into India from the Pakistani side in Samba sector of Jammu and Kashmir this morning, defence sources said.
The incident occurred at around 6 am when the troops of J&K light infantry detected some suspicious movement in Narayanpur area, they told a news agency here.
The troops opened fire to deter any infiltration, they said, adding a subsequent search of the area led to recovery of bodies of the two Bangladeshis.
