HC reserves order on Mayawati`s petition
Lucknow, Oct 21: The Lucknow Bench of the AllahabadHigh Court will pronounce tomorrow its orders on the formerUttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati`s writ petition seekingstay on her arrest and quashing of the FIR in the Taj Heritage corridor case.

High Court will pronounce tomorrow its orders on the former
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati`s writ petition seeking
stay on her arrest and quashing of the FIR in the Taj Heritage
corridor case.
A division bench comprising Justice G K Gupta and Justice
Khemkaran reserved their orders on her petition until
tomorrow.
The bench also reserved its orders on the two writ petitions filed by Mayawati`s former principal secretary P L Punia and former environment secretary V K Gupta seeking stay on their arrest and quashing of the FIR in the same case.
The court is yet to pronounce its order on another writ petition of Mayawati seeking stay on her arrest and quashing of the fir in the disproportionate assets case.
Mayawati had filed two writ petitions in the court yesterday challenging the fir registered against her by the CBI in the Taj Heritage corridor case and the disproportionate assets case.
Punia and Gupta, also accused in the Taj Heritage corridor case, had filed separate writ petitions challenging the registration of the fir against them and also sought stay on their arrest.
