Kalyan trying to get `certificate of secularism`: BJP
New Delhi, June 20: BJP today sought to play down Kalyan Singh`s allegation about the involvement of senior party leaders including Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the Ayodhya demolition, saying the former Uttar Pradesh chief minister was only trying to get a `certificate of secularism` from his prospective allies.

"Kalyan Singh's statement is not to be taken seriously as it is on expected lines keeping in view the current political mind set," BJP spokesman Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told a news agency over phone from Mumbai.
"He (Singh) is trying his luck with pseudo-secular parties and needs a certificate from his friends that he is not involved in the episode," Naqvi said. Bureau Report
