New Delhi, Feb 20: Lok Sabha Speaker Manohar Joshi today rejected Samajwadi Party's notice of adjournment motion on the "misuse of Pota" by Uttar Pradesh government and some other state governments. Soon after Ramji Lal Suman raised the issue and wanted to know the fate of the notice, Joshi ruled that his notice had been rejected but he would be allowed to speak during zero hour.

He recalled that the government had repeatedly assured members that Pota would not be misused but it was being done in several states.
Suman said that deputy prime minister L K Advani made a "disappointing" statement on Pota in Rajya Sabha yesterday.
