Govt thinking of revising tariff plan for port users: Shatrughan Sinha
Mangalore, Oct 28: Government is contemplating revising the tariff plan for port users in the country, Union Minister for Shipping Shatrughan Sinha said.
Mangalore, Oct 28: Government is contemplating revising the tariff plan for port users in the country, Union Minister for Shipping Shatrughan Sinha said.
A committee has already been set up to look into the matter, he told reporters here yesterday.
On the lines of ongoing projects for development of roads including the golden quadrilateral and east-west, north-south corridor projects and interlinking of river waters, the ministry is also contemplating interlinking all ports, Sinha said.
Public-private partnership can play an important role in the development of coastal region, he said.
