Frankfurt, Nov 14: Last Thursday, Michael Schumacher won a karting event held on an icy surface. The race was organised in Frankfurt by Fiat Germany. More than 5000 spectators watched the charity event, which included semi- professional drivers, VIP's and lucky contest winners.
Michael Schumacher started from the front row and despite experiencing brake problems, the six-time world champion impressed the crowd by clinching yet another victory.
Michael Schumacher is a UNESCO Ambassador and takes his role very seriously. The six-time world champion donated 1 million dollars to UNESCO at the beginning of the week in a ceremony held in Neuss, Germany. Schumacher did not attend the event but Willi Weber presented the cheque in his name.
Pushing his generosity one step further, Michael Schumacher also went to Cape Town, South Africa, helping the Nelson Mandela Foundation to raise funds to fight against AIDS in Africa. The private party was held on Monday night at the Arabella Sheraton Hotel.

The next event on the German's programme will take place on 11 December in Italy. A match between his Ferrari F2003-GA and a Eurofighter from the Italian Air Force will be organised to determine which one of the two machines will win acceleration runs of 500 and 1500 meters. Of course Michael will drive the Ferrari !



The next day Michael Schumacher will attend the FIA prize ceremony in Monaco, where he will officially receive his sixth World Championship title.



After all these activities, Micheal will go to Trysil, Norway on 13 December to relax with his family, spending the Holidays at his country house.
