KMC to charge tax from CAB
Kolkata, Oct 30: Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) will charge Rs 50,000 from the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) towards amusement tax for the November 18 final of the cricket Tri-Series match at the Eden Gardens, Mayor Subrata Mukherjee said today.

Besides, the civic body will also charge advertisement
tax from the CAB, the organiser of the match, he said.
This is for the first time that the KMC will charge amusement and advertisement tax from the CAB for hosting matches in the Eden Gardens.
The mayor told reporters he had had talks with the CAB President Jagmohan Dalmiya in this regard.
