Mumbai, Oct 03: Claiming that `all was well' with the experiment of artificial rain, Maharashtra government today said the arrival of state's airplane and 20 days of the late monsoon still remaining, will help them achieve their objective. Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, in a weekly cabinet briefing, told reporters that the artificial rain experiment started on September 20 was implemented in 19 talukas so far. The airplane to be used for cloud-seeding, will arrive soon, he said adding the airplane used so far were of the neighbouring states. In 19 of the 73 talukas where the artificial rain is to be experimented, rain has been in the range of 11 mm to 50 mm, Shinde added. The Meterologocial Department has informed that no clouds are expected in next three days, he said, adding that cloud-seeding will once again commence for 4 to 5 hours in Osmanabad, Solapur and Sangli districts.
