Mumbai, Oct 11: Amitabh Bachchan, who has meandered between superstardom, a near-fatal accident, near bankruptcy and unmatched fame as an anchor of a television programme, is now all set to start a new innings today on his 61st birthday with the revival of ABCL Corporation and launching of a film featuring him and son Abhishek for the first time.
The superstar would unveil his programme today to revive the Amitabh Bachchan Corpration Limited (ABCL), a sick company, which had dragged the actor to the edge of bankruptcy after it suffered heavy losses at various fronts.
The birthday celebrations would also see the actor announcing the muhurat shot of `Ranveer', a film featuring for the first time the Big B, himself, along with his son, Abhishek.
"Because in life, as in cricket, there's always a second innings, because there comes a time when every man must shrug off the heavy cloak of yesterday and don the wings of tomorrow...".Says the 24x 24 inch invitation card, reflecting the style and philosophy of Big B.
As part of the tribute to one of the leading stars that gave the country several hits, a special exhibition displaying photographs of Bachchan, shot in a span of 20 years, would also be unveiled on Monday.
The exhibition would have a special touch with various painters, including Subhash Awchat, Charan Sharma, Baiju Pradhan, Vrindavan Solanki, sketching their own interpretation of the star.
