New Delhi, Aug 10: Two new trains Bathinda-New Delhi Shatabadi Express and Dehradun-New Delhi Jan Shatabdi Express are being introduced from August 16.
The Bathinda-New Delhi train will stop at Ambala Cantt., Rajpura, Patiala, Dhuri and Barnala stations, a Northern Railway release said today.
It will leave Bathinda at 5.00 am to reach New Delhi at 11.15 am. On return it will depart from New Delhi at 5.25 pm to reach Bathinda at 11.40 pm the same day. The service of the express will be available five days a week, from Sunday to Thursday from New Delhi and Monday to Friday from Bathinda.
The inaugural run of the Express will take place at 7.45 am from Bathinda and it's regular service will commence from August 18 from New Delhi.
The new Jan Shatabdi Express will depart from Dehradun at 5.10 am to reach New Delhi at 11.05 am. On return it will leave New Delhi at 3.30 pm to reach Dehradun at 9.10 pm the same day.
The train will stop at Haridwar, Roorkee and Meerut enroute.
Services of this train will be available six days a week except Sunday, the release said.
The inaugural run of the train will be at 5.15 pm from Dehradun and it's regular service will commence from August 17 from New Delhi.
