New Delhi, Oct 27: Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today expressed grief at the death of veteran trade union leader and former union petroleum minister Vazhapadi K Ramamurthy in Chennai.

Ramamurthy in Chennai.
In a condolence message, Vajpayee said that Ramamurthy had
"worked hard throughout his life towards ameliorating the
condition of the working class and made significant
contributions in the trade union movement as also in other
nation-building activities".
