Ajmer, Aug 14: Railway authorities have decided to go ahead with project connecting Rajasthan's major pilgrim Centres of Pushkar and Ajmer. A preliminary survey for the 16-km rail link, costing Rs 11 crores, has already been made and the new track is expected to be completed in three years, Western Railway (WR) sources said here today.
The WR had already set up an office for the project under deputy chief engineer (construction) here.
