Nasik, Jan 13: Four Railway Protection Force (RPF) officials, arrested by CBI in a case of theft of genuine stamp papers worth Rs 23 crore here, were today remanded to magisterial custody till January 27. A CBI team produced them in the additional sessions and district court where judge A K Gunjotikar which remanded V R Joshi, (Inspector Parel workshop Mumbai), Sub-Inspector P S Dahake, (RPF, Mumbai), V J More (Constable RPF, Manmad) and Dr Warke, (head constable (retd) RPF Nasik Road) arrested on January 8, to magisterial custody after their CBI custody expired today.

According to Girish Ghumare, advocate for the officials, bail applications of the four have been moved in the court and will come up for hearing on January 16.

CBI had booked the officials under various sections of IPC and prevention of corruption act.
