Notwithstanding claims of Pakistan about the Indian links to the kidnapping of US journalist Daniel Pearl, a key suspect in the case, Syed Mubarrak Ali Gilani has said that he provided invaluable services to Pakistan`s security services in the past. The suspect, Syed Mubarrak Ali Gilani, told the interrogators that besides having provided invaluable services to Pakistan`s secret services, he received half a million dollar donations a year from abroad. Pakistan daily `The News` reported on Friday that Gilani, the Rawalpindi-based millionaire Jehadi who surrendered to police two days ago pleading ignorance about Pearl`s abduction, also gave the names of a number of serving and retired security officials.
