New Delhi, Nov 01: Punjabi pop star Daler Mehndi's bail expires today and the police set to arrest the pop singer if the local Patiala court denies him regular bail.
Mehndi is under investigation for his role in an illegal immigration racket.

On Friday, the Delhi High Court had refused to extend Mehndi's interim anticipatory bail saying it would not pass any order without hearing the Punjab Police.
Mehndi had failed to appear before the police for the third successive day on Friday.

The singer who had been interrogated for 11 hours over Monday and Tuesday, failed to turn up before Patiala DIG IPS Sahota after that.
The DIG is enquiring into Mehndi's allegation that the Patiala Police had demanded Rs 1.5 crore to keep his name out of the case.

The police says Daler is not cooperating with them. Bureau Report
