Birla Sun Life MF declares second dividend of 5%
New Delhi, June 20: Mutual fund Birla Sun Life on Friday announced a second dividend of five per cent on Birla Dividend Yield Plan.
New Delhi, June 20: Mutual fund Birla Sun Life on Friday announced a second dividend of five per cent on Birla Dividend Yield Plan.
This dividend is in addition to eight per cent announced in May 2003, a company statement said.
It said Dividend Yield Plan, an open-ended scheme aiming to provide capital growth and income by investing mainly in a well-diversified portfolio of dividend paying companies, had appreciated by 17.7 per cent (based on Net Asset Value of Rs 11.77 of Growth Plan as on June 17).
"We will like to reward our investors by giving them a tax free dividend," Aditya Birla Group Director (Financial Services) S K Mitra said in the statement.
The scheme manages assets worth Rs 160 crore, it said. Bureau Report
