Lucknow, Feb 11: It was the time for Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav to raise his ''feel good'' factor while announcing a number of sops for the masses in his budget proposals. ''The UP government is infact giving the 'feel good factor' in a real way through its works rather than by promoting it through media,'' Yadav said in his speech.
He said that till the people of the state were not linked with the social and economic development, the country could not rise and hence there would be no ''feel good'' factor.
The CM reiterated that his government would try to reduce the budget deficit and minimise the useless expenditure. ''This was the reason the government had abolished nine districts and four divisions,'' he stated.
The Samajwadi Party supremo also called upon the leaders from all the parties to join hands with the government to develop the state as desired.
