Lucknow, Oct 03: BJP today had a dig at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav for 'going back on his words' and forming the largest ever ministry in the state. Yadav had been continuously attacking successive BJP governments for having jumbo-sized ministries heavily burdening the state's exchequer but now he has created history by inducting 97 ministers in his Council of Ministers, BJP spokesman Hriday Narain Dixit said in a press statement here. "The Chief Minister has made a desperate attempt to keep his flock together by rewarding them with ministerial berths without caring for the dismal financial situation of the state," he said adding the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government at the centre has set the ideal as to how the ministry should be confined to only ten per cent strength of the elected members.
