Kunming (China), July 29: Real Madrid playmaker Zinedine Zidane today reiterated his plans to retire in two years when his contract with the Spanish club expires. "I just have two years on my contract with Real Madrid and in that time I want to play as well as I can and get whatever (championships) I can get," the former world footballer of the year said after a morning training session. "Then after these two years I will calmly retire."
The French star, 31, hinted that retirement was on his mind last year, suggesting that the Euro 2004 championship could be his last as an international. Zidane and the rest of his superstar teammates including David Beckham, Ronaldo and Luis Figo are in southwestern China for a week-long training session as part of an Asian promotional tour.
