Raipur, Aug 29: Lok Janshakti president and former union minister Ramvilas Paswan today charged BJP and congress of conspiring and joining hands to delay the delimitation of Parliament and assembly seats.
Both BJP and Congress have joined hands at Central level on delimitation of seats otherwise they have to do away with 22 seats from the current unreserved segment, Paswan told reporters.

He said that although SC and ST population has increased to 25 per cent about 22 per cent seats were reserved for them in Parliament at present. The new delimitation commission report would have given them more seats but all the major political parties have joined hands on the issue to delay it, he claimed.
He said like in Himachal Pradesh, his party will go it alone in assembly elections in four states and added that his target was to put up at least one dedicated worker in each villages of the country by next five years.

Paswan said the disinvestment of Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum has been delayed due to coming elections and would be done after that.
