Shimla, Nov 17: The Himachal chief minister P K Dhumal today called upon the BJP workers to reach out to the people and make them aware of the achievements of his government ahead of the assembly elections due in the state early next year. Addressing the active workers in Mandi district, he said that his government was the first non-Congress government in the state to have completed its full five year term.

The workers should educate the Massesd claiming that the government, he said claiming that the achievements on the developmental front had been spectacular.

He claimed that the government provided jobs to 56,000 persons and created employment opportunities for lakhs of people in private and self-employment sector.
The state, he pointed, was heading towards a power revolution as it had undertaken projects with more than 8,000 mw potential. That would generate an income of Rs.2,000 crore annually for the state on completion.
