Ayodhya, July 19: Six articles were found during excavation today in the acquired land in the disputed site in Ayohyda, official sources said. These included decorated stone pieces, glazed tiles, and a pestle, they said.
The excavation by the Archaeological Survey of India team was concentrated around the makeshift structure, the sources said.
The digging work has been expedited as three archaeologists from ASI have joined the team recently.
