PM convenes all-party meeting tomorrow
Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has convened an all-party meeting on Saturday to brief opposition and NDA leaders about the situation and India`s perceptions in the wake of the terrorist attacks in the United States, a PMO official said on Friday.

Vajpayee had briefed leader of the opposition Sonia Gandhi on the same on Thursday night. The 45-minute meeting was also attended by external affairs minister Jaswant Singh, national security adviser Brajesh Mishra and and leader of the opposition in the Rajya Sabha Manmohan Singh.
Official sources said the meeting was held at the instance of the Congress Party, which wanted the government to take opposition into confidence on the country's security scenario in the light of the terrorist strikes.
