Ahmedabad, Jan 29: Gujarat victory has paved the way for BJP's success in the forthcoming assembly polls in five states this year, national BJP treasurer and incharge of Gujarat's party affairs Ramdas Agrawal claimed today.
"The overwhelming victory of BJP in Gujarat has had an impact on the national polity and we are confident about our victory in forthcoming assembly elections," Aggarwal told reporters here.
"The landslide victory in Gujarat has broken the morale of Congress activists at the national level also," he added.
The BJP leader said "people in Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, which will go to polls this year, are eager to know about party's victory in Gujarat."


Agrawal said the BJP expects to take its primary membership in the country from present three crore to five crore as also having five lakh "active" party workers this year.
