Mamata Banerjee files papers
Kolkata, Apr 22: Nationalist Trinamool Congress chief and Union Minister Mamata Banerjee today filed her nomination papers seeking re-election for fifth consecutive term from the prestigious Calcutta South Lok Sabha constituency.

A large number of party supporters and sympathisers accompanied Banerjee to the survey building where she submitted her papers.
Banerjee was accompanied by city mayor Subrata Mukherjee, who is also the party's candidate for the Calcutta North West seat, opposition leader in the state assembly Pankaj Banerjee and several party MLAs and councillors.
