Patna, Jan 01: In a major breakthrough in Saturday`s alleged fake encounter, the suspended sub-inspector of Shastri Nagar Police Station Samshe Alam was arrested here today. Director General of Police R R Prasad told a news agency that CID sleuths probing the sensational case took Alam into custody in connection with the killings of three students in the alleged fake encounter with police at Ashiana Nagar on Saturday. Alam was kept at an undisclosed place for security reasons, Prasad said. Bureau Report
