Indian diplomatic mission arrives in Kabul
An Indian diplomatic mission to Afghanistan, the first-ever since New Delhi closed its embassy in Kabul in 1996, arrived in the war-torn country on Wednesday, External Affairs Minister Jaswant Singh informed Rajya Sabha.

The mission, which included a special envoy for Afghanistan, arrived at Begram airfield near Kabul at 0955 hrs, Singh said making a statement in the House.
