San Francisco, Sept 05: Computer chip maker Intel announced on Wednesday it was selling a small software division to two venture capital firms. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Intel's Software Products Services unit is being sold to Vector Capital and vSpring Capital. The unit makes Intel's LANDesk corporate computing titles.

Intel will keep a minority stake in the unit, which employs some 150 staff worldwide.

LANDesk offers computer network support and management for companies. Bureau Report
