Six wounded in explosion on German ship in Danish port
Copenhagen, Dec 02: Six polish sailors were wounded, three of them seriously, today when an explosion rocked their German cargo ship docked in the northern Danish port of Alborg, police said.

Authorities were investigating the cause of the explosion, which happened around 0900 IST aboard the ship, named the Sierksdorf, which was carrying material used for
cement manufacture.
The seven-strong crew were evacuated from the ship and six of them were hospitalised suffering from burns, security services said.
Authorities said the ship was sinking, despite efforts by emergency crews to stabilise it by pumping it out. Bureau Report
