London, June 19: Pakistan's Ehsan Mani today formally took over as the president of the international cricket council, succeeding Australia's Malcolm Gray.
The 58-year-old Mani is the third ICC president since a new constitution was put in place in 1997 and will have a term of two years. India's Jagmohan Dalmiya and gray had three year terms.
Mani, Pakistan's permanent representative to the ICC since 1989 and who has served on various ICC committees, took over at the cricket business forum. Bureau Report
