Maoists abduct ex-Deputy Home Minister
Kathmandu, Oct 12: The Maoist rebels have abducted ex-Deputy Home Minister of Nepali Congress Mahendra Yadav from his house in Saptari district, party sources said today condemning the abduction.

"We strongly condemn the abduction of Yadav at a time
when the Nepali Congress is launching agitation for
restoration of multiparty democracy in the country," NC
spokesman Arjun Narsing KC Said.
"We take this incident very seriously and strongly condemn the act, he said appealing to the Maoists to immediately release him.
