10 NTPC power stations get Greentech Safety Awards
New Delhi, July 24: Ten power stations of state-owned National Thermal Power Corporation have received Greentech Safety Awards for promoting safety measures during the year 2002-03.
New Delhi, July 24: Ten power stations of state-owned National Thermal Power Corporation have received Greentech Safety Awards for promoting safety measures during the year 2002-03.
Korba, Anta, Faridabad and Auraiya power stations along with the NTPC corporate centre were presented gold medals by union minister of state for power Jaywanti Mehta, a company release said here today.
In recognition of their commitment towards improving safety measures during the period, Dadri, Badarpur, Simhadri, Kawas and Jhanor-Gandhar power stations received silver medals, it said, adding the Kahalgaon power station got the bronze medal.
The awards have been instituted by the Greentech Foundation.
